Deepika Padukone Biography

Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress and model who appears mainly in Hindi films. She was born on January 5, 1986, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and raised in Bengaluru, India. Padukone began her career as a model before venturing into acting. She made her acting debut in the 2006 Kannada film “Aishwarya” and later made her Bollywood debut in the 2007 film “Om Shanti Om”.
Deepika breakthrough role came in the form of the epic romance “Bajirao Mastani” (2015), for which she received critical acclaim and several awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She has since starred in many highly successful films such as “Padmaavat” (2018), “Chennai Express” (2013) and “Happy New Year” (2014)
Deepika Padukone is considered one of the most attractive and highest-paid actresses in India. She is also known for her philanthropy and social activism. In 2015, she launched the Live Love Laugh Foundation, a nonprofit organization to help people suffering from mental health issues.
Padukone has also been honored with several awards for her contributions to Indian cinema, including three Filmfare Awards, three IIFA Awards, and four Producers Guild Film Awards. She was also honored with the Crystal Award for excellence in film at the World Economic Forum in 2018.
